The last few years has seen huge growth in the number of people using new media technologies to promote products and services. The more established forms of print media and direct marketing are no longer the dominant forms of media used in marketing.
Today we see animated banner advertising everywhere, PowerPoint slideshows, flash mini CDs, DVDs, copywriting, e-marketing and other forms or advertising. It wasn’t very long ago that video on the internet was impractical and unreliable. Since the advent of broadband everything has changed completely. Video, audio, interactive flash and 3d animated web sites are scattered all over the internet.
Just because there are so many innovative and new ways to promote a product or service shouldn’t mean we’ve got to use these just because they are so accessible. Just have a general look at the quality of online video and other media and you can draw your own conclusions as to the quality of these digital experiences.
If you think about what internet or television advertising material you watched in the last week, what made a lasting impression? Generally the reason why it made an impression was an advertising agency put a lot of planning and thought into the project.
If you want your multimedia project to turn out successful, then put that extra thought and planning into whatever you do to be more effective in promoting your products and services. For further assistance Tel: 082 394 2342
